Lucent Solar, an American solar module and cell manufacturer, has announced the supply of a 750kW rooftop PV system in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany.
The array has been constructed on the roof of a building which is currently being converted into a logistics centre, involved in the leasing of commercial buildings as well as the leasing of rooftops for PV systems.
Stefan Wohlauf, Vice President Europe Sales of Lucent Solar, commented: "Despite the deep cuts in the EEG over the past years and renewed, caused by the federal government market uncertainty and the threat of punitive tariffs on modules beginning of this year, we managed, an umbrella project of considerable magnitude to develop, plan and eventually timely implement on their own. This underscores our scale sustainability commitment to the German market in the large roofs and see here continues to be a market where we can grow healthy."
